The Dark Daughter, a moving account of the life of Finola O’Donnell, mother of Red Hugh and matriarch of one of the most powerful families in Irish political history, will premiere in Belgium on Tuesday, May 7 at the Louvain Institute for Ireland in Europe.
The play, sponsorted by Donegal County Council Cultural and Community and Enterprise sectors was invited to attend the international summer school, following its debut at the Donegal Bay and Bluestacks Festival as part of the Flight of the Earls 400 celebrations in 2007.
