Gweedore native Gavin O’Fearraigh will represent Ireland in the Eurovision Dance Contest in Glasgow on September 6th.
He will team up with former Lord of the Dance star Dearbhla Lennon from Dundalk who was his partner when the pair were selected for the Glasgow contest by viewers of the Late, late Show last Friday.
They were also dance partners when they won Celebrity Jigs ‘n’ reels last year.
They face couples from 15 other countries in the Glasgow finals which will be televised live on RTE.
Gavin(27), whose main career is as an actor, spends most of his time in Galway where he films Ros na Run for TG4 in which he plays the part of mischievous barman Conal Daly.
