Bundoran fundraiser for little Adam

A fundraising event is being held this Friday night in Bundoran for brave little Adam Kivlehan who has been battling from a rare form of cancer for most of his short life.
Last week in the Donegal Post, his grandmother Deboragh Kerr-Flanagan, spoke of her grandson’s courageous fight against the disease.
Adam, now 11-months-old was first diagnosed with a tumour in his liver at ten-and-a-half weeks old – just days after his christening on Saturday 23 February.
The youngest son of Laura and Karl Kivlehan, from Kinlough, Co Leitrim, he was rushed to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Dublin where he has spent over eight months.
Since he was diagnosed with cancer, Adam’s intense medical treatment has been continuous, and even though he has astounded everyone with his bravery, courage and resilience, Deboragh says, the “little soldier” still has a long road ahead to recovery.
Paying tribute to her gorgeous grandson the Bundoran woman added: “You have showed so many people the true meaning of courage, and deserve the best in life, because that is what you have given, your very best and are truly a little hero.”
The fundraising night and draw is taking place on Friday, at The Wharf, Bundoran, to raise funds for Adam’s treatment. The Donegal Post asks members of the public to support the event if they are able to.
